It uses a special carrier to adsorb and capture trace pollutants in sewage. At the same time, the special components on the carrier react with oxidants (ozone, chlorine dioxide) to generate a large number of free radicals with extremely strong activity (·OH). Then, through addition, substitution, electron transfer, bond breaking and other reactions, the refractory organic substances in the water body are oxidatively degraded into low-toxic or non-toxic small-molecule substances, and even directly degraded into CO₂ and H₂O.
